“Education is the passport to the future, and attendance is the stamp that opens doors to endless possibilities.”

At Bristnall Hall Academy, we are committed to your child’s success, but they can only benefit from our wealth of opportunities if they are here every day. This page will provide you with resources and information to help you support your child with excellent attendance and punctuality.

Regular school attendance is important because it provides:

  • Better health, employment and income in the future
  • Positive academic outcomes – there is a direct link between regular attendance and outcomes
  • Opportunities to develop social skills and build lasting friendships
  • Allows pupils to personally grow and develop their interests
  • Access to support (SEND, Pastoral, Peer Support)
  • Gives children a sense of belonging and connection with their peers and community
  • Teaches children personal responsibility
  • Provides them with a comprehensive careers education and opens doors
